re-created using artwork now in the public domain (artwork
older than the 95-year US copyright duration)
Most are postcard scans, purchased royalty free cd's, or downloaded from the
public domain on the web originally
To
avoid confusion..... we do not own the copyright to the Masters' actual
works.
We do, however, own copyright to the final "altered art"
products and compilations of the collections as
newly created, which do take some hours to create - derived art, hence
"not for commercial use"
applies to the finished product, altered and archived from vintage art, and for
your personal use
There are many places on the web where the Masters' Art may be found as "commercial use" clipart
You are required to have a
graphics editor to crop and fix up your images
for your own graphics
